A Level is one of the most demanding stages of secondary education, preparing learners for the intellectual challenges of university and professional life. Our preparation supports advanced subject mastery, independent thinking and a disciplined approach to internationally recognised examinations.

Developing academic mastery

Learners concentrate on subjects relevant to their strengths and intended university pathways, building the conceptual clarity, analytical precision and practical application that advanced achievement requires.

Skills for advanced achievement

  • Critical analysis: evaluating complex arguments and reaching reasoned conclusions.
  • Independent academic work: managing demanding coursework and revision.
  • Research and evaluation: finding reliable information and analysing evidence.
  • Advanced problem-solving using established principles and logical reasoning.
  • Examination performance: technique, time management and accuracy under pressure.

University and higher education

A Level qualifications are recognised by universities and institutions around the world. Admission remains subject to each institution's requirements, the learner's subject choices and results, and any national qualification or exemption rules. Learners planning to study in South Africa should consider university admission and matriculation exemption requirements when choosing subjects.

Qualifications and external assessment

A Level is awarded after the official assessments, either through staged AS and A2 assessment or another permitted route. We provide academic preparation; official examination entry and certification require external arrangements.
